Catherine is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University and holds a B.A. Honours in Political Science.  Following graduation, she spent five months working for a Peruvian non governmental organization.  Catherine moved to Vancouver to pursue her Master’s degree in Political Science and completed her Law degree at the University of British Columbia.  After articling at a national firm in Vancouver, Catherine came to Nova Scotia and has joined Creighton Shatford as an associate. She was called to the Bar of Nova Scotia in November 2009. Catherine is developing a practice in the areas of civil litigation, criminal, family and business law.

Returning to Northern Nova Scotia allows Catherine to enjoy the beautiful outdoors on the shore of the Northumberland Strait.  An avid runner, you will likely see her out on the trails around town. Fluent in French, English and Spanish, Catherine relies on her strong legal research, writing and advocacy skills to serve her clients.
