After completing her articles with Creighton, Shatford, & Drysdale, and after being called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2004, Wanda Severns joined the firm as an associate.

Wanda primarily practices civil and criminal litigation, including commercial/corporate, personal injuries, municipal, insurance, and environmental law.

During her time at law school, Wanda was also the International Coordinator of a two year Canada-Russia Policy Research Project (sponsored by the Gorbachev Foundation and the Canadian International Development Agency), The Media as a Tool for Civic Engagement.

Wanda grew up in British Columbia. Before completing her B.A., she spent some time doing volunteer work in Mexico and Honduras, where she learned Spanish, and worked with a Medical Brigade in rural Honduras. This experience is reflected in Wanda's Master's Thesis: The Internet and Democratization in Mexico: A Critical Analysis.

As of June 2004, Wanda is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society.
